Swift Racing Shells 4x/-/+

Our Boats  /  Flatwater  /  Swift Racing Shells 4x/-/+

Overview

The Swift 4x/-/+ covers quads, fours, and coxed fours. They are the backbone of competitive rowing programs and have won many regattas, National Championships and International Medals.

With multiple hull sizes from 421 to 425, there's a perfect match for every crew weight from 55 to 110kg per person. Fours and Quads can be built coxless, or coxed (top coxed/front loaders, or as stern coxed boats).

There are multiple rigger choices and parts & fittings that have been tried and tested by tens of thousands of rowers before you.

Boat Grades & Construction

Each grade is finished to the same high standard, with a different price point, and may be more suitable for certain situations and environments.

All Swift racing shells share these core features:

  1. "Sandwich" construction (ie. A core material such as honeycomb, coremat, or PVC foam is sandwiched between 2 "skins").
  2. Epoxy resin, cured at high temperature, under vacuum.
  3. Enclosed seat decks for maximum buoyancy (exceed FISA's requirement).

With various grades, you can choose the materials and price which best suits your needs, whether that is rowing in the Olympics or putting out a fleet of robust singles for your Novice Masters group.
