John Armitage

John Armitage

Founder

A legendary figure in Canadian rowing, John's insight ensures every club finds the exact hull profile needed for their specific water conditions. John has spent his lifetime striving for excellence as both a former competitive rower who represented Canada internationally (1975) and current head coach as well as founder of the Kingston Rowing Club (1977). After 40 years at the helm of the Queen's University rowing team, John had the honour of being inducted into multiple Kingston area sports halls of fame.
Sarah Roth

Sarah Roth

Managing Partner

Responsible for leading operations, logistics, and strategic growth across North America, Sarah oversees procurement, order fulfillment, and cross-border coordination, while building the systems and processes that enable the company to scale efficiently. Driving business development, partnerships, and digital strategy, positioning Swift Racing Canada as a leading supplier within the rowing community. A former varsity rower at Queen's University and current Board Chair of the Kingston Rowing Club, she combines firsthand rowing experience with a strong background in operations, real estate, and high-performance leadership.
Johann Loewenstein

Johann Loewenstein

Parts Manager

With an eye for carbon fiber integrity, Johann oversees the technical specifications and rigging setups for every coastal and flatwater shell. Moving to Canada from Colombia at age 16, Johann found rowing at 18 through the Argonaut Rowing Club in Toronto. He was drawn to the technical demands of the sport: the precision, the discipline, and the way small details shape performance on the water. He is currently studying astrophysics at Queen's University in Kingston.
